Today I taught a workshop with babs Introduction to Dreamweaver MX. Its an extreme introduction, and she had I have co-taught for ohh 3 years now? Anyway, I have noticed that people are becoming sophisticated and the questions are becoming more complex. Keeps us on our toes!
Right now we just teach:
- Tool and Palette overview
- Opening and saving pages
- Paragraphs & Line breaks
- Headings
- Lists
- Blockquotes
- Making hyperlinks, anchors and email links
- Inserting and formatting images
- Table basics
- Style basics
- Site Definition & Maintenance
- Editing pages created by other applications (such as Microsoft Word)
So judging from the questions we are getting I am wondering if its time to make it a bit more advanced, or offer another class. We also teach Cascading Style Sheets. Then again, we do get the guys still using Mac version 8.x and Dreamweaver 2.
