Walking along the Sunset District

Walked around the Sunset District on Saturday. A little windy but the sun was out and it was a nice day. More Pics Irving Street was having a sidewalk sale and lots of cool things were on display by various merchants. One was showing garage door openers and I asked if they had a keychain version of my garage door. I had bought one about a year ago and it had stopped working. So maybe I should by a new one? I asked to see one, it was the exact same one I had bought online, only instead of the $20.00 I paid, they were asking $45.00. I asked how it was set up and thanked her. Got home today and tried to reprogram it. Success! No more walking upstairs and forgetting to close the darn door! How cool is that?

Saw a really cool band on Friday at the Hotel Utah. Julie, Philip and I arrived after a really good dinner right when a punk rock band was playing. Loud loud loud. Even drinking couldn’t stop the loud. After that band was the next, Phlips friend’s Little Fuzzy. I really liked their music, warm and fun. The lead singer had a great voice, We were “on deck” and could see the band below us. On deck you ask? One section of Hotel Utah is an actual ship … pretty cool! So the band played in the belly of the ship and we had a great view.
