This will probably push you over the edge, but did you know that the cereal bits in Lucky Charms (the things that are not marshmallows) are among the healthiest cereal things in big name cereals? ‘Tis true. I wonder, though, what choclatifying them does to that….

Wait a minute… horseshoes? rainbows? blue diamonds? wtf?! The last time I looked at a box there were only like… four types of marshmallow treats: pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars and green clovers. What on EARTH is going on here? Has the world gone mad? God, my head is spinning….

John went out to get some soda and came back with a box of chocolate Lucky Charms! But in case you are wondering, the mashmellow bits are:

  • Pink hearts
  • Purple horseshoes
  • Green Clovers
  • Pot of Gold
  • Blue Moon
  • Rainbow
  • Pink Balloon
  • white/yellow shooting star.

In fact according to the fact-finding box these luscious treats have magical powers!

Horseshoe gives you speed, the heart is life, shooting star gives your flight, clover is luck, moon is invisibility, ballon floats, rainbow is travel and pot o’ gold is illumination! All that power in a small box!
