I was sick yesterday, the headache that started thursday night was still around. But when I woke up from the pain on Monday morning around 5am that was the kicker, “humm, you should rest today”. So I slept a little, stayed in the dark and limited myself to only ONE Judge/paternity daytime tv show.
I also filed all my bills, so that felt good. Around 2 the headache finally went away, but I still refilled my migraine medication.
So now at work catching up. I am going to a PHP/MYSQL workshop tomorrow in SF and really looking forward to it. I have a few elements on the library website that are begging to be dynamically generated, but a giant CMs isn’t needed. I have the hope this small workshop will take care of my needs. and afterwards I get to see Kelly! Its a win-win situation!
This weekend John and I saw Taming of the Shrew at Shakespeare at Stinson.
First we spent the day at the beach, tried to get int the water, too damn cold. But did some beachcombing then fell asleep on the warm sand. The strong sunscreen worked and only got a little burned. Grabbed our picnic food and then went to the play with plenty of blankets. The theme was shakespeare combined with Bollywood. Nice job. This dog got into the open air theater and kept hopping on stage. Most of the actors handled it pretty well.
This summer is the 35th season of SRJC’s Summer Repertory Theatre, on Sunday we saw Seussical, a musical which details a a few of Seus’ most popular children’s stories–primarily the Horton books with a helping of Miss Gertrude McFuzz and The Cat in the Hat, and a dash of Yertle the Turtle and Green Eggs and Ham. Jordan is the prop master this seaosn and she got us a few tickets! We went to a matinee and it was JAM PACKED full of kids, literally there were maybe 10-20 seats left.
It was fabulous, everyone was talented and full of energy. Afterwards we took Jordon out for drinks and dinner. Then I tried to play a complicated game and my brain exploded. But thats is another story.
