Post Xmas

Its been a busy week.

Friday was a 1/2 day at work. After work, drove to Stockton to check out Johns new pad. He is staying there with Jim and Anne Marie until the school year ends. It a nice place, and has wireless. A bunch of friends stopped by and we had a little xmas party. Faraci (His name is John but they call him Faraci, go figure) gave me this Great comic, a 70′s adventure of Superman Jr and Batman Jr who travel America in a party van. Well, in this adventure they land in the town of woman, who hate men. In the end they are brainwashed by some ugly alien and Supes and Bats save the day. The woman are infected with uglie cooties and the only cure is a kiss by a man. Man what schlock. I love it and will prolly frame it.

Next day was xmas with Fathers side of family. Before we arrived, we stopped at Ikea and bought a entertainment center. Amazing! Ikea was NOT crowded. It was the least crowded I had ever seen. Then we went to Safeway, very crowded.
At Dads, it was pretty mellow. We played Guitar hero (I am not good) and everything was cool. We got our first “couple” present. Really nice set of crystal. My grandmother also gave me her wedding rings from her first marriage (the one with my biological grandfather). The ring is basic and platinum and matchesmy engagement ring perfectly. I’ll go see if it can be resized next week.

Next day was xmas with Johns family. It also was mellow. Afterwards was another party at Johns pad.

Next day home. We put together the entertainment center, the new lamp and collected junk that had accumulated in the house. Johns mother is giving us her big-ole TV and it needs a place to stay. The entertainment center looks fabulous. He hooked up all the dvd, vhs stereo stuff and low and behold it ALL Uses ONE remote control, sweet!

Next day, it rained. I worked on this freelance project all freaking day. John made dinner and took good care of me.

Next day, we cleaned the garage. In order to make room for his stuff, mine have to be reorganized. It looks fabulous now. I threw out a lot of stuff and now have a huge pile of goodwill items for next week.

The project I am working on is almost done (about 50 pages). John gets to proof it and then finished! Le tired.
