Andy Gets Hitched!

Andy was glowing this Sunday as he took the joyful march and joined the union of ma-tro-mony.

andynat.jpgTraffic was extraordinarily light and we were one of the first to arrive. The wedding was in a restaurant in Richmond and the owner had kindly closed the place just for us. Everyone was in splendid moods, the bride was well … radiant! I got to see some people I hadn’t seen/talked to in over a year. I was in a corner and small space and lots of people made mingling a challenge but many succeeded! During the bridal boquet, Tina yelled at me to come close and attempt the “grab.” I have seen how some women get and wanted NO part of that. Heck one wedding many years ago, I climbed out of a window rather than be part of the bridal boquet tradition. At this wedding Andy’s niece was much taller than the others she just walked up and raised her arms, towering over everyone eles. It was pretty funny. She was made to go in the back which she did with great humor.

I have been to several weddings in the past year and try to see what makes it good, what makes it no so good, what is being done here that I should do, what is being done that I should *not* do. If I get even 1/2 of the easygoing, friendly and comfortable energy of Andy and Nats wedding then I will have done very well.

It was a good wedding.
