This was the first weekend where we had things to do but there was no urgency and it was nice and mellow. Nice.
Friday night, I drove to Napa and met John for a Napa High School football game. Go Indians! The energy was high and people were in great spirits. A homecoming court was crowned and the marching band was really good. The football team was victorious and although I don’t know much about football I did see a few amazing plays. One guy was running with the ball and he was suddenly surrounded by the opposing team. He jumped over the guys and made a touchdown. It was really cool.
Saturday Aundrea and Phil came over. I made dinner and we played on the Wii all day. Dance Dance Revolution had arrived the day before, we hooked it up and started dancing. John is pretty darn good, I am dance-challenged. Time will tell if my skills improve.
Sunday Julie and I went on a walk for the brand new Cotati Historical Society. It was just a quick walk downtown pointing out the historical aspects of Cotati. A lot of the historical tibits were surprising. I am sure I will learn more since I volunteered to create their website.

It should come as no surprise to those that know me that I am a dancing fool. DDR’s pretty easy – you just follow the beat.
The beat
