Oh, he’s so cute!! Congrats!

I wish I’d known you were looking… my daycare provider is giving up her 7-week-old orange tabby, Roscoe.

Thanks for the offer. It had to be a certain cat. We went looking a few weeks ago, and out of 3 different humane societies, didn’t find the right cat. So we stopped looking. Then he found us. :)

My vote for a name:
Instead of Karma… Name him Karmen or Karmo (since he’s a boy) =)

My suggestion still stands, a geek name is an imperative, therefore I suggest:

Oh! He’s an angel straight from heaven! So cute! Congratulations on finally finding him. John looks sooo happy. I like male orange tabbies too. My, oh so creatively named “Oranges”, is probably my favorite of all our cats. Though they are all my favorites when I’m petting them. Yours definitely has a particular look, I can almost feel his name, like it’s on the tip of my tongue. Of course, it took us months to come up with the names Jack and Abe for our older brother cats.

I was thinking of a suitably geeky name suggestion, and was gonna go with something lame like Legolas or something. When it struck me the cat doesn’t look like a Legolas, but he does in fact look like a “Lego”

Wow! He is super cute and looks to have quite a special personality. He reminds me of Falkor the Luck Dragon from The Never Ending Story.

Congrats on your new kitty. It took me forever to come up with Bit and Byte for my two orange cats. I hope inspiration strikes, or perhaps he’ll be uncat like and tell you his name soon.
