Saturday John and I started a tradition and went tree hunting. We arrived at Frosty Mountain in the afternoon. A large field of tree’s awaited us. You are provided with a saw and something to easily transport your prize. We had some cider and started our hunt. Once John spied the large saws he was hooked. We wandered up and down the aisles until the perfect tree was location. Brandishing the saw, he made quick work on the tree. We took the tree to the packing location, where it was netted and placed into the car. Bought a stand and then started the decorating of the tree. John was impressed by the vast collection of Star Trek ornaments (except for the voyager). Lego was interested in everything we were doing, and hopped all around the tree as we placed various trinkets on the tree. Zori, not so much.

when I actually buy trees (though I have not done for some years now), I generally leave the tree undecorated in its stand for a couple of days, so that any tails can get their curiosity/jollies out prior to putting on the delicate/breakable bits. ;-D
Good idea. Unfortuntely, we were impatient. It is okay though, Lego’s newest escapade is to leap from my feet to my head … while I am sleeping.
