Weekend, it goes to fast

Saturday John and I went to Susan’s housewarming par-tee.   Freshly painted and with the aura of “new house”, it is lovely.  Got a chance to talk to a lot of folks and compared wedding tales with another couple who had been married two months before us.  Same last name as Johns  as well!  Tried to talk work a few times but chastised (and well deserved so).

Had people over until about 1:30 that evening, only to be woke at 8 in the mornin.g  The water department  informed us we would have no water for 1.5 hours.   Funny thing is if they had left us alone, we would never had been the wiser.  John can go back to sleep easy-peasy.  I can’t.  So I was up at 8:30, sipping coffee and reading the newspaper (online of course!).  So started the headache that lasted all day.

Dad came over for a visit.  We were going to go geocaching that day but it was so hot he suggested a movie instead.  Didn’t matter which one, AC was the only thing that mattered.  Yeah the theater was cool.
