Lego goes outside

Zori runs outside when I leave in the morning (mostly to get away from Lego).  They stare at east other thru the sliding glass door all day and I am pretty sure she taunts him. This and the birds that tweet at him outside the kitchen only infuriates him and he whines about going outside.

 Well John had Lego chipped and flea gooped this weekend and he went outside unsupervised.  We watched as he ran down the stairs and just rolled in dirt.  The neighborhood cats pretty much ignored him. ( I have named all the neighborhood cats, Tabbby Cat 1, Orange Cat, Tabby Cat 2, Siamese Cat, No-tail cat, Grey Cat, you get the picture.)  Tabby  1  stayed a good 50 feet away and pretended to play with a leaf for hours.  Tabby 2 came up and they touched noses and sat next to each other for awhile.   Once I could see he was okay with the outside I went back inside.  About 30 minutes later neighbor Siamese Cat is peeking thru the open door.  Siamese cat is a big ole cat and pretty much the bully of the area.  He has never been up on our porch before.  I tell him he can’t come in and get out. He pretends to leave then walks up to the sliding glass door which is open but has the screen closed.  He turns around and pees on the screen!   I jump up and start yelling at Siamese Cat.  He quickly leaves and I spend a good 15 minutes cleaning with pet-smell-be-gone while John hoses the outside.  Most of the product as blocked by the screen but a little bit hit the carpet.  Damn cat did it right in front of me!  

We think he felt threaten by Lego and wanted to assert his dominance.  All it did was irritate me and there is a water hose with his name on it.  So far Lego seems happy staying on the stairs and doesn’t venture out much.
