Where did the weekend go?

I know this was a three day weekend, it just didn’t feel like it.  Saturday was Commencement day at school. The 2008 Commencement ceremonies celebrated students who graduated in December 2007 or will graduate in May 2008 or August 2008. The event normally last from 2-3 hours each, not this time.  At 7 in the morning, things were overcast.  As I got into the car and drove to school, the rain started.   Soft at first and then very very heavy.  I had forgotten to bring a sweater and just had summer garb on, including chilly sandals.  Just hoping out the car to pick up donuts for everyone was a drenching experience.

The first ceremony was very short, everyone was getting pelted by the rain.  For the most part people were good natured about it.  After all … what can you do?   

Cleared up somewhat by the time we closed.  Went home, got fancied up and went to a birthday/graduation party.  (I might have squeezed in a little COH as well… perhaps)

Saw latest Indiana flick on Sunday with several peeps at the Corta Madera.  It was a fine movie followed by a fine meal at Maxs.  John had never been there before, I stole his shrimp when he wasn’t looking.  

Monday  people came over and we grilled meat.   Ahh … meat….
